FIND OUT ABOUT
OUR FOUNDER & COACH

I'm Jess Gale and i am the founder of the De-Complicating Dressage Platform.

I will be the person that you see on our Live Workshops and Q&As and it will also be me that takes you through each training session.

I am a BD Accredited Coach and have been very lucky to have represented my country at Internationals and U21 European Championships. I continue to compete up to Small Tour level as well as producing horses from just broken through to Grand Prix.

During my years competing for GB I had moments where I was completely confident in what I was doing and how I was training my horses (usually the week after a lesson). But most of the time I was uncertain, second guessing if what I was doing was the right thing to do.

In my coaching I make sure that my riders leave with a clear idea of what they need to do, why they need to do it and how to achieve it.

But I wanted to push further than that and create something that riders from all around the world were able to use to help them feel confident to train their horses on their own without daily or weekly lessons.

Lessons with trainers are fantastic, but they sometimes time, money, location, , our job or just life gets in the way of having regular lessons.

But training on your own without support can be uncomfortable. It might be that you don't feel confident in your own ability, or that you feel that you don't have enough knowledge or that you are not sure what to actually do in your training sessions.

I hope that De-Complicating Dressage will change all that! We are not here to tell you to get rid of your trainer, but give you the tools so you don't have to rely on them or feel like your horse doesn't go as well when they're not there. Then, when you get in that competition arena you are crystal clear of what you need to do and how you are going to do it. And any problems that you come across in those 5 minutes, you will be able to fix confidently and effectively on your own.
