Winter Training Series

In this training series we cover...

6 Private Lessons & Exercises

6 Individual Private Lessons on a series of topics from improving your position and your horses paces to really getting your test riding and accuracy perfect! You will also be given exercises to take home with you to use alongside your Training Plan.

Goal Setting & Training Plans

As part of the series, you will get 3 face to face or Zoom sessions to focus on your goal setting and create your own bespoke training plan for the winter.

Workshops & Masterclasses

There will be regular workshops and masterclasses on a huge range of topics from rider position to mindset, confidence and competition nerves to finding out exactly what the judge is looking for.

Meet Your Coach

Jess is a BDCC (new UKCC) L3 Coach and a British Dressage Registered Coach, Youth Coach & Assessor.

Jess has competed at national and international level at Small Tour, having been selected for Junior and Young Rider European Teams and has numerous international and national wins to her name on numerous horses.

Jess now co runs Froxfield Dressage in Hampshire where she is in charge of the training of up to 20 sales horses from just backed 4 year olds through to Grand Prix horses. as well as her training and competing of owner's horses too.

What is included....

All training sessions are private and take place at Froxfield Stud in Hampshire (GU34 3PW) in a 20x60m indoor arena with mirrors or (if the weather is nice) in a 20x60m outdoor with white boards and mirrors.

Initial Zoom session to set your goals for the winter season and create your training plan

27th Nov - Session 1 - Improving your position

18th Dec - Session 2- Improving your horses way of going

8th January - Session 3 - Suppleness, roundness and bending

Mid Course Check In session over Zoom to discuss your progress, make any alterations to your training plan and you can ask any questions

29th January - Session 4 - Test Riding Skills

12th February - Session 5 - Riding Accurate Tests

26th February - Session 6 - Test Ride your test

Final Zoom session to round off the series and give you some homework to carry on working on as the competition season starts
